Partners in Wildfire Prevention Applauds Senate Markup of the Fix Our Forests Act
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Partners in Wildfire Prevention issued the following statement ahead of the markup of the Fix Our Forests Act in the Senate:
“Partners in Wildfire Prevention applauds the Senate for prioritizing the markup of key wildfire legislation like the Fix Our Forests Act. This bipartisan legislation is critical for improving our nation’s overall wildfire preparedness and ensuring that communities have the resources they need to protect themselves from the threat of wildfires. Passing this legislation is a key part of a comprehensive, coordinated response to wildfires that our coalition believes is necessary to address the ongoing wildfire crisis. We urge the Senate to pass this legislation out of Committee so the bill can move one step closer to the President’s desk.”
Partners in Wildfire Prevention is a coalition committed to reducing the adverse effects of wildfires through prevention and preparedness.
