Thank You for Joining Us at Walmart’s Road to Open Call – Kansas City 

The Latino Coalition extends its heartfelt thanks to Walmart, our event partners, and all participants who made the 2025 Road to Open Call in Kansas City such an inspiring and impactful event. 

This incredible opportunity provided a powerful platform for small business owners and entrepreneurs to connect directly with Walmart — the nation’s largest retailer — and explore opportunities to bring their U.S.-manufactured products to store shelves across the country. 

In partnership with Walmart, The Latino Coalition was proud to spotlight the incredible talent and innovation within our diverse business communities. Events like this represent more than just a pitch opportunity — they are pathways to growth, visibility, and long-term success for American small businesses. 

We also thank Walmart’s Mark Espinoza, Senior Director of Public Affairs, for leading a valuable pre-event discussion and sharing supplier success stories that inspire and guide future applicants. We are equally grateful to the Small Business Development Center for equipping attendees with tools to refine their business pitches and strengthen their applications for Walmart’s main Open Call in Bentonville, Arkansas. 

Walmart’s continued investment in small business growth and U.S. manufacturing is making a real difference, and we are honored to support this mission.
